Tax GCR Director - Senior Manager at EY Jeddah

About the Role

EY is looking for a Senior Manager to join their Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) team in Jeddah to lead complex tax engagements and support growth initiatives in the practice. This position is focused on managing client compliance and reporting, maintaining high-quality service delivery, and strengthening relationships internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team by integrating deep technical knowledge with practical commercial, legislative, and sector-specific insights to deliver tax services.
• Oversee client engagements daily ensuring progress, deliverables, and risk management.
• Implement standardized processes, identify and escalate risks, and pursue performance enhancement strategies.
• Mentor and coach junior team members fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Ensure compliance with EY’s Tax Quality standards across all service areas.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic performance in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or closely related disciplines.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s similarly related, or professional certifications including CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalents.
• At least five years of solid experience in domestic and international taxation laws and regulations, preferably gained in large professional service firms.
• Substantial background in tax accounting and auditing within similar environments.
• Proven leadership skills in managing projects and teams effectively.
