Role Overview
The Sales Executive for the Lighting division acts as the primary driver of business growth in the designated territory. The incumbent is tasked with cultivating and expanding a dealer and distributor network, pushing secondary sales, and guaranteeing consistent brand visibility and product availability across various sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets monthly and quarterly within the assigned area.
- Develop and maintain a robust network of dealers and distributors; identify and onboard new partners.
- Conduct systematic market visits across assigned towns, ensuring sufficient product presence and effective product displays.
- Implement trade schemes, promotional activities, and discount strategies at the retail counters efficiently.
- Monitor competitors’ pricing, promotional schemes, and new product launches, and report market intelligence to the Area Sales Manager.
- Oversee outstanding payments and ensure partners comply with credit policies.
- Submit daily call records, sales data, and market feedback utilizing prescribed reporting tools.
- Strengthen relationships with electricians, contractors, and influential channel stakeholders to stimulate demand.
- Address dealer concerns, manage returns and replacements, and resolve service issues promptly.
