Retail Sales Manager

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and goal-oriented Retail Sales Manager to manage daily operations at our mattress showroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading the sales team, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and ensuring efficient inventory and billing management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the retail showroom.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales revenue goals.
• Lead and motivate sales staff to optimize their performance.
• Provide excellent customer support and resolve any complaints promptly.
• Guide customers in choosing the right mattress products according to their needs.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment with the warehouse.
• Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, and merchandise displays.
• Handle billing, cash management, and maintain accurate store documentation.
• Monitor sales metrics and generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
• Implement and manage promotional campaigns and in-store marketing initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate product deliveries and after-sales services with appropriate teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years' experience as a Retail Store Manager, with preference for lifestyle product sectors, especially mattresses.
• Proven expertise in retail sales and customer relationship management.
• Strong leadership capabilities and staff development skills.
• Competence in inventory and stock management processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in English and local languages.
• Ability to meet targets with strong negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude.
