About HSBC and the Role

We invite experienced professionals to join our team as Reconciliations Processors in Bengaluru, India. This position harnesses your skills to enhance efficiency, support regulatory compliance, and foster risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute essential insights and assist in launching new reconciliation products and activities.
- Drive process improvements by embedding automation and streamlining workflows.
- Lead the implementation of specified business solutions aimed at eliminating manual procedures.
- Participate actively in fund migration or remigration efforts.
- Support departmental initiatives regarding regulatory adherence, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain robust control mechanisms to minimize any potential risks.
- Execute process controls with approximately 80% focus on technical aspects, including independent reviews and implementation of related controls; the remaining 20% involves training, coaching, and mentoring team members.
- Ensure accuracy of reconciliations through process control activities and thorough fund reviews.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree, PGDBM in commerce, accounting or finance certification, or possesses equivalent relevant experience.
- Possesses 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or related financial roles.
- Possesses solid understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, and the end-to-end fund accounting model.
- Familiar with multiple markets, financial products, applicable regulations, and accounting principles.
- Proficient in Excel, capable of managing dynamic workloads and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent understanding of reconciliations processes and fund accounting fundamentals is essential.
