Role Overview
Reporting to the CFO, the People & Workplace Manager is dedicated to developing people practices, enhancing workplace experiences, and managing operational foundations to empower global teams. This leadership role requires hands-on management of recruiting, onboarding, HR administration, workplace operations, and team development across our U.S., U.K., and Singapore offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment process and continually enhance the applicant journey.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding procedures across all locations.
- Maintain and refine HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Administer HRIS (Deel) systems and employee records.
- Coordinate benefits administration and personnel lifecycle updates.
- Support performance reviews and employee growth strategies.
- Address employee relations and performance issues collaboratively with leadership.
- Ensure HR compliance across regions in cooperation with external and internal stakeholders.
- Manage workplace environments to sustain professionalism, organization, and company culture.
- Lead People & Workplace team members, nurturing a high-performing and service-focused environment.
- Oversee workplace operations including facility management, vendor relations, supplies, budget, and daily activities.
- Plan and execute company meetings, office events, and engagement programs.
- Continuously assess and enhance workplace systems and operational efficiency to support growth.
- Recruit, coach, and develop People & Workplace team personnel with ongoing feedback and guidance.
- Set team goals, delegate tasks, and ensure superior execution.
- Promote a collaborative, service-oriented, and high-achievement team culture.
- Assist company managers with people processes and employee advancement.
- Collaborate with Finance on payroll, benefits, and related administration.
- Support strategic operational projects and initiatives across departments and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of four years' experience in HR, People Operations, Workplace Experience, Office Management, or related fields.
- Preferably experienced in fast-paced, client-service sectors such as advertising, media, entertainment, marketing, or communications.
- Previous supervisory or management experience including employee coaching and development.
- Proven track record managing recruiting, onboarding, and HR systems.
- Skilled in process improvement and creating scalable operational systems.
- Excellent organizational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Adept at prioritizing multiple tasks in dynamic environments.
- Experience working cross-functionally with various departments and leadership teams.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (preferably Deel), Google Workspace, Slack, Monday.com, and comparable business tools.
- Experience supporting multiple office locations or distributed teams is advantageous.
- International or multi-country HR experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle access for occasional errands (mileage reimbursed).
- Ability to pass a standard employment background check.
- Authorized to work full-time in the U.S. without needing current or future sponsorship.
- Proactive attitude including identifying improvement opportunities and taking ownership.
