Role Overview and Impact
The Implementation Manager at HMA plays a pivotal role in managing and facilitating the onboarding process of new clients, ensuring smooth transitions from sale to live operations. This role coordinates implementation activities, manages timelines and deliverables, and collaborates closely with both internal teams and clients. As the position progresses, it takes on complex implementations, resolves challenges, and advances client satisfaction. Senior personnel are also involved in enhancing operational standards and mentoring colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support new client onboarding activities from handoff to go-live, adhering to established protocols and deadlines.
- Arrange and lead implementation meetings, including internal preparation, kickoff sessions, and routine check-ins.
- Provide guidance to clients on implementation phases, clarifying next steps, timelines, and responsibilities.
- Serve as the primary daily contact for questions and follow-ups related to implementation.
- Maintain and update implementation plans, trackers, and documentation using tools such as Smartsheet.
- Monitor milestones, identify potential risks or delays, and communicate these proactively to senior team members.
- Ensure timely completion and proper documentation of all deliverables.
- Keep internal stakeholders informed about implementation progress and changes.
- Coordinate with Sales, Account Management, and other internal departments to align on client needs and contracted services.
- Facilitate involvement of subject matter experts during implementation as required.
- Ensure accurate transfer of information across teams throughout the process.
- Keep detailed and prompt documentation within CRM and implementation platforms.
- Adhere to established implementation processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Contribute to process enhancement initiatives by providing feedback on tools, templates, and client experience improvements.
Candidate Requirements
- Associate degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- Between one and three or more years of relevant implementation or project coordination experience.
- At least three years of project management experience with a proven history of successful project leadership.
- Familiarity with workplace software such as Smartsheet, RFPio, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multiple business units within an organization.
- A results-oriented approach with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for a diverse working environment.
- A genuine passion for exceeding customer expectations and delivering exceptional service.
- Enthusiastic about being part of a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-moving team.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position in the Seattle metropolitan area is between $110,000 and $124,000 annually, adjusted based on location, skills, experience, and education. Performance-based bonuses are also available. The package includes comprehensive benefits such as:
