About the Role
Our client, a fast-growing Irish company based in Dublin, is seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to join their finance team. This permanent, full-time position offers a chance to contribute significantly to payroll functions within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and on time on a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly basis
- Maintain and update payroll records for employees, including onboarding, departures, and amendments
- Calculate wages including salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and all statutory payments
- Ensure correct processing of deductions such as taxes, pensions, and other statutory obligations
- Address payroll-related queries from both employees and management promptly
- Reconcile payroll reports and support month-end reporting
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure payroll data integrity
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with audits and continuously improve payroll processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Payroll Specialist, Administrator, or equivalent role
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, PAYE, pensions, and statutory payments
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experienced in payroll software and HR/payroll systems
- Capable of handling confidential data with discretion
- Ability to work independently and meet strict payroll deadlines
