Role Overview
As an Operations Officer at LONGPORT Whale based in Singapore, you will be instrumental in managing support post-implementation for brokers and Wealth Management teams, alongside overseeing daily operations to maintain smooth and reliable trading system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage post-launch support for brokers and Wealth Management, ensuring daily operational stability of trading platforms.
- Guide brokers through operational procedures including trading workflows, settlement processes, and system functions.
- Independently detect and categorize issues, identifying affected modules and collaborating with Product, IT, and Project Management to resolve them promptly.
- Continuously monitor system workflows to identify irregularities and lead internal coordination for rapid problem resolution.
- Handle troubleshooting related to trading systems and business operations for Hong Kong and U.S. equities, account opening, funding, corporate actions, IPOs, and application usage.
- Support incident management efforts by tracking root causes, preparing documentation, and liaising with involved stakeholders.
- Work alongside cross-departmental teams to improve operational efficiencies and refine processes.
- Leverage intelligent customer service platforms and internal tools to boost response times and service quality.
- Assist in meeting audit, risk control, and compliance mandates as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in brokerage, wealth management, or trading system operations.
- Background or a strong understanding of Wealth Management business is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional interaction.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and thorough attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese is preferred to coordinate with Greater China stakeholders.
