Mid-level Remote Back-End Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated mid-level Back-End Developer to join our fully remote team. This role involves building and maintaining backend systems with a strong focus on Java technologies. The position requires professional communication skills in English and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setup.

Key Responsibilities and Skills Required

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Java and Maven.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git.
• Design and manage SQL databases.
• Work with RESTful and SOAP web services along with XML.

Preferred Additional Knowledge

• Experience with Apache Camel integration framework.
• Familiarity with API design standards such as OpenAPI and Stoplight.
• Understanding of RPC protocols and raw TCP socket interface.

Beneficial but Not Mandatory Skills

• Working knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Confluence tools.
• Experience with front-end technologies like Node.js, Vue.js, and Nuxt.js.
• Proficiency in German or other languages.
