About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our healthcare team in Doha, Qatar. This position involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of adult medical conditions with a focus on chronic diseases, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient evaluations, medical examinations, and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Manage chronic illnesses including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging studies.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor therapeutic progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Participate in emergency response and on-call duties as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS degree with MD or DNB specialization in General/Internal Medicine.
- Possession of a valid medical degree recognized by the relevant medical council.
- At least 2 years of experience following specialization in Internal Medicine.
- Successful completion of the Qatar Prometric Examination.
- Eligibility for Qatar DataFlow verification and medical license acquisition.
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic expertise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
