Internal Medicine Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our healthcare team in Doha, Qatar. This position involves diagnosing and managing a wide range of adult medical conditions with a focus on chronic diseases, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, medical examinations, and develop effective treatment strategies.
• Manage chronic illnesses including diabetes, hypertension, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging studies.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and monitor therapeutic progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Participate in emergency response and on-call duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• MBBS degree with MD or DNB specialization in General/Internal Medicine.
• Possession of a valid medical degree recognized by the relevant medical council.
• At least 2 years of experience following specialization in Internal Medicine.
• Successful completion of the Qatar Prometric Examination.
• Eligibility for Qatar DataFlow verification and medical license acquisition.
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic expertise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
