Overview
This is a remote contractual position lasting 12 months, offering an hourly pay range of $40 to $43. The role involves providing expert HR advice and support to employees, emphasizing outstanding customer service throughout all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer comprehensive HR guidance and education to employees across various levels, centering on superior customer service delivery.
- Handle a significant volume of employee inquiries and support tickets efficiently.
- Deliver personalized support using multiple communication channels including chat, phone, and casework.
- Utilize research-based methodologies to swiftly access information on company policies and employee programs.
- Coach and assist employees in utilizing internal HR tools and resources to encourage self-service.
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and engage cross-functionally on complex issues.
- Perform regular audits to maintain data integrity within HR systems and update relevant data.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all transactions with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal control standards.
- Proactively seek ways to improve and streamline HR processes.
- Monitor and meet personal Service Level Agreements regarding response times and task turnaround.
- Provide support for the Contingent Workforce Program, including Tier 1 inquiries and processing activities.
- Manage and oversee the Critical Systems Access Background Check process.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of HR systems to make informed risk mitigation decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR operations role with strong domain knowledge.
- At least 2-3 years of practical experience using Workday platform.
- Experienced in completing Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) within Workday.
- Proficient in generating and managing reports through Workday.
- Capable of adhering to established processes and documenting new workflows effectively.
- Proactive approach to project management ensuring timely task completion.
- Outstanding customer service aptitude paired with a focus on continuous process improvement.
- Strong analytical capability for addressing complex issues, with attention to detail and process optimization.
- Experienced conducting root cause analysis for HR processes and related technologies, identifying patterns, issues, and solutions.
- Skilled in building partnerships with multiple HR colleagues and stakeholders globally.
- Competent in leveraging data-driven insights to recommend business process enhancements and system improvements.
Preferred Experience and Attributes
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
- Experience using ServiceNow platform is an advantage.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite applications.
- Background in an HR Shared Services or HR Operations environment helpful.
- Industry experience in technology or finance sectors preferred.
- Desirable personality traits include being data-driven and possessing an easy-going work style.
