Role Responsibilities

• Conducting maintenance and repair tasks on residential and commercial properties, with projects lasting between two hours and two days
• Engaging with customers to explain necessary work and managing expectations regarding project scope and pricing
• Building lasting customer relationships by consistently delivering excellent service following the "Mr. Handyman Way" process
• Operating independently and managing own schedule, often working alone
• Providing exceptional customer service, including requesting reviews and collecting payments
• Bringing and utilizing personal tools and demonstrating comfort with technology
• Documenting job progress and adhering to company protocols
• Maintaining safety by wearing personal protective equipment and using protective coverings to safeguard customers' homes

Minimum Qualifications

• Residency within the local area
• At least eight years of paid handyman experience
• Possession of own tools
• Insurability for driving company vehicles
• Successful background and driving record check
• Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds
• Capability to work safely at heights and overhead for prolonged durations
• Professional presentation and proper upkeep of the company vehicle

Skill Proficiencies

• Expertise in carpentry
• Experience with bathroom and kitchen improvements
• Interior and exterior painting skills
• Drywall repair and finishing, both minor and major
• Basic plumbing and electrical work where legally permitted
• Floor installation and refinishing
• Understanding of relevant building codes
