Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Whitehaven, England. This position offers an hourly pay of £13.71 and includes benefits such as a 15% discount on products, an optional health care plan, Grocery Aid support, Christmas vouchers, and a minimum of 28 days holiday annually.

Job Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely following proper procedures, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Practice safe driving habits at all times while on the road.
• Conduct thorough checks on the van to ensure it is roadworthy.
• Deliver food items in excellent condition, maintaining quality for customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service as the direct representative of the company.
• Assist in-store duties when required.
• Work independently and manage time effectively during shifts.
• Be flexible to work various shifts with hours ranging between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a full driving license for a minimum of 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Show a positive, friendly attitude and passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Be punctual and able to meet deadlines consistently.
• Have a strong understanding and awareness of road safety rules.
