Job description
Role Overview
As a General Maintenance/Electrician at our hotel in Barbados, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and comfort of the hotel premises. This position involves ensuring that electrical systems are operating optimally, responding promptly to service requests, and supporting event setups, all while delivering excellent hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain facilities by ensuring the physical safety and working condition of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house sections.
- Respond swiftly to requests from guests and internal teams for repair and maintenance services.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections and servicing of lighting, electrical systems, and associated equipment to uphold safety and performance standards.
- Assist with event preparations by assembling and dismantling electrical power and lighting setups for meetings, banquets, and exhibits.
- Keep comprehensive records of all inspections, repairs, and identify any issues requiring further attention.
