Job Summary

This full-time role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen work areas, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are upheld while supporting food service operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen floors clean by sweeping and mopping in compliance with sanitation and safety protocols.
• Clean food preparation surfaces such as worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks to maintain hygiene.
• Manage waste disposal by removing trash and sanitizing garbage containers through steam cleaning or hosing.
• Assist in transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work zones efficiently.
• Help with banquet table arrangements and front-of-house setup when required.
• Support loading, unloading, and delivery of supplies and products.
• Distribute utensils, portable equipment, and supplies as needed during operations.
• Adhere strictly to sanitation and safety measures throughout all duties.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team and operations.

Preferred Experience

Applicants should preferably have between one to two years of prior experience working in food service utility or a related environment.

Working Hours and Location

This full-time position offers an 8-hour shift schedule with days and hours varying; specific details will be provided during the interview stage. The position is located at Atrium Navicent Macon, 777 Hemlock Street, Macon, GA 31201, with applications accepted online only.

Compensation and Benefits

The fixed pay rate for this role is $18.85 per hour.
