About the Role
Starting October 1, 2026, you will join K+S Aktiengesellschaft at the Unterbreizbach location for a fixed term of one year as a Payroll Specialist. The position offers flexibility to work remotely from home in coordination with the office requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive management of all payroll- and time management-related personal data throughout entire employment periods.
- Independent execution of monthly payroll processing, including thorough quality assurance of all payroll-related data and handling of variable salary components.
- Responsible oversight and quality control of all reporting and certification processes, adhering to current legal, tax, and social security regulations.
- Serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for employees and managers concerning all payroll and timekeeping inquiries.
- Ensuring timely, compliant, and service-oriented processing of payroll workflows.
- Proactively participating in the continuous improvement and development of processes, systems, and digital solutions.
Working Time and Flexibility
The role is planned as a full-time position; however, the possibility exists to fill it with complementary part-time employment arrangements. Applicants are encouraged to specify preferred working hours, which will be evaluated.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial vocational training, preferably supplemented by additional HR qualifications (e.g., Certified HR Specialist) and possibly further tax-related certifications.
- Initial or moderate experience in payroll is advantageous, although motivation to develop further expertise in this field is paramount.
- Basic knowledge of tax and social security law or willingness to learn these areas.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with SAP HCM is a plus.
- Strong self-motivation with a proactive approach toward advancing tasks.
- Enjoyment of teamwork combined with open and respectful communication.
- High service orientation, sense of responsibility, and dedication to quality.
- Commitment to exploring innovative solutions and promoting continuous process enhancements.
