Role overview
This opportunity is for an experienced Demand Planner III / Supply Demand Planner who can help balance supply with demand across distribution networks. The role calls for strong analytical thinking, hands-on supply planning knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to improve operations and customer outcomes.
Position details
Title: Demand Planner III – Supply Demand Planner
Location: Austin, TX (hybrid)
Duration: 6 months
Experience needed: 5–7+ years
Pay rate: $45.00–48.00 per hour on W2
What you will do
- Coordinate supply and demand planning to support smooth supply chain operations.
- Work on inventory, forecasting, and allocation planning activities.
- Study backlog, open orders, and supply limitations to help achieve business targets.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment to deliver projects and improvements.
- Use data analysis to guide decisions and resolve planning challenges.
Skills and qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, operations, procurement, finance, or consulting.
- Background in supply and demand planning, inventory control, forecasting, and allocation planning.
- Solid understanding of supply chain operations and distribution networks.
- Advanced Excel skills and SAP experience; Tableau knowledge is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a data-driven approach.
- Experience handling complex projects in a cross-functional, matrixed setup.
- Good communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, engineering, economics, or a related area.
Preferred background
- Experience with global supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with Tableau and reporting platforms.
- MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience leading strategic supply chain initiatives and process enhancements.
