About the Role

This is a fully remote Customer Success Specialist position supporting a growing customer base of cities, counties, and economic development organizations. The role involves working directly with government and community stakeholders to help them get the most from the platform, from onboarding and support through to educational resources and webinars that drive long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead new city, county, and EDO customers through onboarding so they can start using the platform smoothly and confidently.
  • Serve as a reliable first point of contact for customer questions and routine support needs.
  • Create and update help articles, guides, and other self-service materials for users.
  • Organize and deliver webinars that teach and support government and community users.
  • Work with internal teams to share customer insights and help improve the overall user experience.
  • Support partner communities in building lasting success with the platform.

Required Qualifications & Attributes

  • Experience working with or alongside public-sector organizations such as cities, counties, EDOs, or related community development groups.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or another customer-facing support function, preferably with public-sector or mission-driven clients.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with government staff and community stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational habits, quick responsiveness, and a proactive approach to solving issues early.
  • Capability to advise customers on how to use the software effectively and apply best practices.
  • Strong motivation to support local governments and contribute to economic growth.
  • Excellent communication skills for both one-to-one support and group presentations such as webinars.
  • Comfort working independently in a remote setup across distributed teams and time zones.
