Overview
Join Securitas Ireland as a Corporate Security Officer and become a key guardian in delivering a safe, secure, and professional environment. Located in Dublin 4, this opportunity involves safeguarding people, property, and peace of mind while supporting a prestigious client. The role involves flexible shifts throughout the week, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all security-related issues on-site.
- Manage access control systems including issuing and revoking access to prevent unauthorized entry.
- Handle issuance and inventory management of security badges and keys.
- Monitor alarms and respond promptly to any alerts.
- Escort visitors and vendors as required.
- Protect assets and work to minimize loss or waste.
- Operate CCTV surveillance to maintain security oversight.
- Report and document incidents, accidents, health and safety concerns, and emergency situations.
- Conduct patrols and checks to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Support the reception team after hours, including visitor management.
- Assist at onsite functions or events when necessary.
- Complete all necessary training related to equipment and systems such as Lenel and fire control, addressing any knowledge gaps with supervision.
- Provide a service level aligned with contractual performance standards.
- Collaborate with teammates to support daily security operations and identify potential issues.
- Maintain professional appearance by wearing the company uniform correctly at all times.

Administrative Duties
- Accurately complete logs, reports, and other documentation related to security activities.
- Support management and team members by preparing reports and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain regular communication with reception, security team, and management for cohesive operations.
- Review policies and procedures actively, proposing improvements to enhance service quality.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- Previous security experience is an advantage though training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills and adaptability in working hours.
- Possession of a valid PSA Licence (Number: 00352).
Compensation and Working Conditions
- Hourly wage of €16.67 with additional €20.00 allowances for night shifts and Sundays.
- Full-time role offering a minimum of 36 hours per week, flexible across Monday to Sunday, with potential to work up to 48 hours.
