Role overview
Securitas Security Services Ireland is hiring experienced security professionals for a respected client site in Grangecastle, Dublin. This is a fully flexible role running Monday to Sunday, with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week. The position is on an onsite contract and requires availability for days, nights, and weekends.
The pay structure includes a base rate of €21.67 per hour, with a night allowance of €20.00 and Sunday premium. The role is described with a composite rate of €24.25 per hour, based on a fully flexible contract and an annual attainable salary of €53,111.65, inclusive of night, Sunday, and public holiday payments. The base hourly rate remains €21.67.

What the role involves
- Carrying out life-safety duties as the first priority in emergencies.
- Applying the facility’s standard operating procedures consistently.
- Managing access control across the site.
- Patrolling internal areas, including the building and roof.
- Responding to tailgating attempts.
- Overseeing visitor movements and vehicle access.
- Handling goods release procedures.
- Monitoring security systems and related equipment.
- Preparing reports, documenting incidents, and supporting audits.
- Providing general security support for daily site activity.
- Patrolling the perimeter and external buildings.
- Detecting hostile surveillance activity.
- Escorting assets during delivery movements.
- Escorting staff within the building when required.
- Using specialist site equipment safely and correctly.
- Supporting emergency services and participating in drills.
What you need
- Willingness to learn, upskill, and complete additional training as needed.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; ECDL is preferred.
- Good understanding of security operations, procedures, and industry best practice.
- Ability to supervise people, give instructions, and manage individuals within your area.
- Confidence in learning and using different security and safety systems and controls.
- Ability to keep track of schedules and assigned duties.
- Professional composure when dealing with difficult or unusual situations.
- Strong customer service focus and service-delivery mindset.
- Ability to work effectively with people from different cultures and at different levels.
- Initiative, adaptability, and a results-driven approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- Good PC skills.
- Excellent customer service and telephone manner.

- Own transport is desirable.
