About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join Cramlington Village Primary School as a Caretaker. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and upkeep of the school premises and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the security of the buildings and school site at all times
• Operate and routinely check systems including heating, lighting, and security measures
• Coordinate regular maintenance tasks and conduct safety inspections
• Carry out duties adhering to health and safety and COSHH standards
• Perform grounds maintenance activities
• Undertake general repairs and upkeep as required
• Demonstrate initiative by working independently without constant supervision
• Uphold integrity and embody the school's core values and principles

Additional Information

This is a fixed-term contract lasting for one year.
