About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join Cramlington Village Primary School as a Caretaker. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and upkeep of the school premises and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the security of the buildings and school site at all times
- Operate and routinely check systems including heating, lighting, and security measures
- Coordinate regular maintenance tasks and conduct safety inspections
- Carry out duties adhering to health and safety and COSHH standards
- Perform grounds maintenance activities
- Undertake general repairs and upkeep as required
- Demonstrate initiative by working independently without constant supervision
- Uphold integrity and embody the school's core values and principles
