Job Summary

The role calls for a Catering Assistant with some prior experience, capable of working independently and collaboratively. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic and a practical hands-on approach.

Position Details

• Full-time position with 39 hours per week.
• Work location: Naas, County Kildare, Ireland.
• Scheduled working hours: Monday through Friday, daytime shifts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare food items as assigned.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas.
• Serve food and perform basic cleaning duties.
• Support all food preparation phases from start to finish.
• Organize and keep preparation areas clean while following food safety protocols.
• Ensure serving counters are consistently restocked and orderly during service.
• Provide timely service to customers.
• Perform additional duties as required outside the routine tasks.
• Adhere strictly to HACCP standards and procedures.
• Complete daily logs related to cleaning and food safety compliance.
• Maintain an approachable demeanor with strong customer service focus.
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Required Experience and Skills

• HACCP/Food Safety Level 2 qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of food safety principles and control measures.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Keen attention to detail.
