Job Summary
The role calls for a Catering Assistant with some prior experience, capable of working independently and collaboratively. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic and a practical hands-on approach.
Position Details
- Full-time position with 39 hours per week.
- Work location: Naas, County Kildare, Ireland.
- Scheduled working hours: Monday through Friday, daytime shifts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare food items as assigned.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areas.
- Serve food and perform basic cleaning duties.
- Support all food preparation phases from start to finish.
- Organize and keep preparation areas clean while following food safety protocols.
- Ensure serving counters are consistently restocked and orderly during service.
- Provide timely service to customers.
- Perform additional duties as required outside the routine tasks.
- Adhere strictly to HACCP standards and procedures.
- Complete daily logs related to cleaning and food safety compliance.
- Maintain an approachable demeanor with strong customer service focus.
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Required Experience and Skills
- HACCP/Food Safety Level 2 qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of food safety principles and control measures.
- Previous experience in a customer service environment.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Keen attention to detail.
