Business Analyst - ITIL

Role overview

A leading professional services organisation in Dublin is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with ITIL expertise to join its IT function on a day-rate contract. The position sits in IT Operations and is centred on analysing how services are currently delivered, capturing requirements, and supporting improvements to technology-enabled processes across the business.

This is a hybrid opportunity for an initial 12-month term.

What you'll be doing

• Collecting, clarifying, and recording both business and technical requirements
• Assessing existing ITIL processes and spotting opportunities to make them more effective
• Facilitating workshops with key stakeholders
• Documenting the current and proposed future process flows
• Assisting with service management and technology change programmes
• Partnering closely with teams in IT Operations, Infrastructure, and Security

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment
• Sound knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management principles
• Hands-on experience with process mapping and process improvement
• Strong ability to work with stakeholders at different levels
• Capability to turn business needs into precise requirements
• Experience in professional services or the legal sector would be an advantage

Additional information

This is a day-rate contract role based in Dublin. The initial engagement is for 12 months and the working model is hybrid.
