Architectural Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves creating detailed architectural plans, electrical schematics, and PCB layouts for a variety of projects. The position is remote and requires a flexible commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week with compensation ranging from $40 to $50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed floor plans and elevation drawings according to project specifications.
• Create comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural and engineering applications.
• Generate precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts essential for manufacturing documentation.
• Produce and label multi-sheet electrical schematics adhering to industry standards.
• Design and assess PCB layouts while ensuring manufacturability and functional integration.
• Engage in collaborative exchanges to clarify project needs and address technical queries.
• Deliver complete documentation packages aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in architectural CAD design and construction documentation.
• Proficient with standard 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
• Experienced in creating and interpreting GD&T annotations and complex schematic diagrams.
• Skilled in developing multi-page electrical schematics and integrating PCB design within architectural projects.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities for managing extensive document sets.
• Fluent in English with advanced communication proficiency.
