Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves creating detailed architectural plans, electrical schematics, and PCB layouts for a variety of projects. The position is remote and requires a flexible commitment of 10 to 40 hours per week with compensation ranging from $40 to $50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed floor plans and elevation drawings according to project specifications.
- Create comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural and engineering applications.
- Generate precise Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts essential for manufacturing documentation.
- Produce and label multi-sheet electrical schematics adhering to industry standards.
- Design and assess PCB layouts while ensuring manufacturability and functional integration.
- Engage in collaborative exchanges to clarify project needs and address technical queries.
- Deliver complete documentation packages aligned with project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in architectural CAD design and construction documentation.
- Proficient with standard 2D/3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools.
- Experienced in creating and interpreting GD&T annotations and complex schematic diagrams.
- Skilled in developing multi-page electrical schematics and integrating PCB design within architectural projects.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational capabilities for managing extensive document sets.
- Fluent in English with advanced communication proficiency.
