Role Overview

This full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada involves representing clients in various legal proceedings. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing legal opinions, and advising clients on litigation strategies and dispute resolution paths. The advocate will regularly appear in courts and tribunals, conduct thorough legal research, prepare comprehensive case briefs, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and maintain meticulous case records.

Additionally, collaboration with the technology and operations departments to enhance workflows and improve client experience through technology-driven legal services is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a valid law degree (LL.B or equivalent) with enrollment in a recognized Bar Council and proven litigation or legal practice experience.
• Exhibit strong legal research, drafting, and analytical capabilities, with proficiency in interpreting statutes, case law, and regulatory materials.
• Demonstrate excellent client communication and counseling skills, capable of presenting complex legal topics in straightforward terms.
• Ability to handle multiple legal cases, adhere to deadlines, and work methodically with an emphasis on detail and ethics.
• Comfortable using digital legal tools and platforms with a willingness to engage in the development of technology-enabled legal solutions.
• Fluent in English and relevant local languages pertinent to court practice in Vijayawada, and skilled in record keeping and documentation.
• Dedicated to enhancing access to justice and delivering affordable legal services that support diverse Indian populations.
• Experience in civil, criminal, or consumer law cases within Indian courts is advantageous; background in legal aid or public interest legal work is a plus.
