Role Summary

This Junior Intellectual Property (IP) Lawyer position based in HSR Layout, Bangalore, offers a full-time opportunity primarily suited for freshers or candidates with up to two years of experience. Bar Council registration is mandatory. The role involves working closely with senior IP lawyers and internal teams to support client IP requirements, conduct research, and manage legal documentation in a tech-enabled environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior IP lawyers in understanding and responding to clients' IP-related needs.
• Help prepare and file legal documents and applications associated with IP rights.
• Advise clients on foundational matters related to trademarks, copyrights, patents, and other IP concerns.
• Engage in client interactions and help resolve IP-related queries.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research into IP laws, regulations, case precedents, and recent changes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IP laws, rules, procedures, and regulatory updates.
• Draft legal notices, responses, opinions, applications, and other pertinent IP legal documents.
• Support the development of educational content and resource materials for clients.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of IP services.
• Maintain precision and confidentiality when handling client and legal information.
• Collaborate across teams to improve IP-related offerings, processes, and product features.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess an LL.B. or Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
• Mandatory enrollment with the Bar Council.
• Specialization or a strong interest in Intellectual Property Law is advantageous.
• Open to fresh graduates and those with up to two years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated eagerness to develop a career in Intellectual Property Law.
• Basic knowledge of legal concepts with a strong willingness to learn.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in preparing legal documentation.
