Role Overview
As an Account Manager at SparkLoop, you will partner with leading newsletter operators and media brands to maximize their audience expansion and revenue targets using SparkLoop’s platform. You will provide personalized onboarding and continuous account management for top clients, primarily focused on our Paid Recommendations and Partner Program tools.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke onboarding and ongoing account management to key clients engaging with SparkLoop’s growth and partner programs.
- Function as a strategic consultant by analyzing newsletter performance, setting ambitious targets, and developing actionable plans to meet growth and monetization goals leveraging SparkLoop’s solutions.
- Share actionable insights and best practices gleaned from client engagement with the wider newsletter community internally and on social platforms.
Candidate Profile
You should bring 2 to 5 years of direct experience working with successful newsletters boasting over 100,000 subscribers or generating revenue above $1 million. You also require 2 to 5 years of account management experience, ideally gained in an agency or SaaS environment. Meticulous organizational abilities and excellent communication skills, including native-level English proficiency for engaging with senior leaders at major media organizations, are essential. A significant overlap with U.S. time zones during your working hours is critical.
Additional advantageous qualifications include hands-on experience with major Email Service Providers (ESPs), previous use of SparkLoop’s products, active ownership of a newsletter, and a robust online media or newsletter industry profile.
