Job Overview
J M B Motors is seeking an experienced 2D Draftsman to generate precise technical drawings for residential and commercial building projects utilizing AutoCAD software.
Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive 2D drawings using AutoCAD tools.
- Update and revise drawings in response to project needs.
- Analyze and comprehend architectural and structural plans.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and other project staff.
- Maintain accuracy and meet scheduling deadlines for deliverables.
Requirements
- Possess an ITI, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Have between 3 to 7 years of experience working as a 2D or CAD Draftsman.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D drafting software.
- Strong understanding of construction-related drawings and standards.
- Detail-oriented with effective communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in AutoCAD 2D
- Knowledge of technical drawing principles
- Familiarity with drafting standards and procedures
- Experience in managing drawing revisions
