2D Draftsman

Job Overview

J M B Motors is seeking an experienced 2D Draftsman to generate precise technical drawings for residential and commercial building projects utilizing AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive 2D drawings using AutoCAD tools.
• Update and revise drawings in response to project needs.
• Analyze and comprehend architectural and structural plans.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other project staff.
• Maintain accuracy and meet scheduling deadlines for deliverables.

Requirements

• Possess an ITI, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Have between 3 to 7 years of experience working as a 2D or CAD Draftsman.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D drafting software.
• Strong understanding of construction-related drawings and standards.
• Detail-oriented with effective communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in AutoCAD 2D
• Knowledge of technical drawing principles
• Familiarity with drafting standards and procedures
• Experience in managing drawing revisions
