Role Overview

This position is responsible for leading the full tendering process for complex data center and infrastructure projects. The role serves as the central coordinator across functions to ensure bids are accurate, compliant, high quality, and submitted on time. It also includes leadership of Tendering Engineers across electrical and mechanical disciplines, along with Bid Administration staff.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the complete bidding process, starting from receipt of the RFP through final submission and follow-up clarifications.
• Build the bid schedule, manage deadlines, and coordinate the necessary resources.
• Run bid launch meetings and define responsibilities for all contributors.
• Work closely with Sales, Solution, Engineering, Procurement, and Business Units to keep the bid aligned.
• Confirm that the technical solution, BOQ, and pricing are consistent with one another.
• Set up internal reviews and make sure approval requirements are met.
• Enforce the rule that submissions cannot proceed without approval.
• Support the submission process, presentations, and post-tender clarification discussions.
• Serve as the key contact point between Sales and internal stakeholders.
• Track risks, maintain compliance, and ensure strong document control.
• Drive process improvement, reporting, and capture lessons learned for future bids.
• Lead and support Electrical and Mechanical Tendering Engineers.
• Supervise Bid Administration work and deliverables.
• Distribute workloads and review team performance.
• Coach team members and help build team capability.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a closely related discipline is required.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in bidding, tendering, or proposal management is expected.
• Hands-on exposure to data center, EPC, or infrastructure projects is needed.
• Prior experience leading and managing teams is essential.
• Strong project management and bid management capabilities are required.
• A solid grasp of both technical and commercial bid considerations is important.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills are necessary.
• Strong analytical ability, organization, and problem-solving skills are expected.
• The role requires comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
