Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Formulate and regularly update the strategy for the program portfolio, ensuring it aligns with the company's strategic direction.
- Assess and prioritize various programs in the portfolio, managing resource distribution and investment decisions effectively.
- Oversee the execution and delivery of multiple programs to ensure successful outcomes.
- Identify portfolio-wide risks and challenges, implementing mitigation measures accordingly.
- Provide timely updates and performance reports to executive stakeholders, offering recommendations as needed.
- Lead and manage a team of program managers, facilitating collaboration across functions.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess client satisfaction and capture best practices.
- Manage workloads of project managers and analysts, anticipating and resolving potential issues.
- Support product development planning including quarterly operating plans, roadmaps, and release schedules.
Qualification & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related disciplines.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, PMI, or PRINCE2 are required.
- Broad and substantial experience in program and portfolio management roles.
- Strong leadership aptitude and capacity to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in using project and portfolio management tools and established methodologies.
