Position Overview
The Store Manager at Carrefour Al Jouf, under Majid Al Futtaim Retail, is accountable for delivering exceptional service, managing the supermarket operations efficiently to maximize sales and profitability, maintaining optimal stock control, improving customer satisfaction, and sustaining business expansion. The role involves planning and executing strategic improvements.
Key Duties
- Implement Majid Al Futtaim Retail's supermarket strategies and procedures in partnership with head and corporate offices.
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate commercial performance and suggest strategies to enhance profits and sales.
- Drive sales and profitability by managing expenses within budget constraints.
- Review sales and stock data regularly and take corrective measures when needed.
- Conduct comparative departmental analyses to improve commercial efficiency.
- Collaborate with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management, covering stock valuation, availability, orders, and delivery schedules.
- Oversee maintenance and servicing of supermarket assets to ensure operational readiness.
- Manage hygiene, safety, and security standards within the supermarket environment.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a store manager within the supermarket sector.
- Must reside in Al Jouf Province or neighboring Northern Saudi areas; applicants from outside must be willing to relocate.
- Proven experience in retail management.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities to build relationships across all organizational levels.
