Retail Sales Executive

Job Overview

This role involves actively assisting customers who visit the retail outlet by providing tailored product suggestions and showcasing product features to meet customer needs. The candidate will be expected to fulfill both individual and store-wide sales objectives while maintaining thorough product knowledge across all company offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and effectively assist retail customers during their visit
• Identify customer needs and propose appropriate products accordingly
• Showcase product benefits, features, and usage demonstrations
• Meet and strive to exceed both personal and store sales targets
• Keep up-to-date knowledge about all product categories under the Wakefit brand
• Coordinate billing procedures and basic store operations
• Ensure an outstanding customer experience and nurture ongoing relationships
• Collect customer feedback to encourage repeat business
• Adhere strictly to retail standard operating procedures including grooming standards, store cleanliness, operational protocols, and feedback collection

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Education: Completed intermediate or graduate degree
• Experience: 1 to 3 years in retail sales, specifically in furniture, mattress, electronics, or lifestyle segments
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Sales Approach: Customer-centric with consultative selling expertise
• Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and experience handling billing or POS systems
• Work Schedule: Flexibility to work on shifts including weekends
