As a Maintenance Technician specializing in elevators and escalators, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of KONE’s equipment. This full-time, onsite role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain superior customer satisfaction through high-quality service and clear, proactive communication on-site, including timely updates on service calls and completed jobs.
• Provide precise and real-time reporting of maintenance activities performed on each piece of equipment.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently while identifying potential risks and immediately escalating those of high risk following the company’s protocols.
• Detect and report unplanned service repairs as they arise based on equipment condition.
• Uphold end-user and site safety by strictly adhering to safety instructions and planned maintenance protocols.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance visits, manage callouts promptly within set timeframes, and ensure all work complies with company quality standards and processes.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for additional sales to supervisors.
• Submit accurate timesheets reflecting work execution and maintain tools, instruments, and service vehicles in good working order.
• Regularly update supervisors on relevant site and service information.

Candidate Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or ITI/Vocational Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering, or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years proven experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting within a reputable elevator company.
• Competent in basic IT and digital skills to support maintenance operations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
