Role Overview

This full-time role based in Stoke-on-Trent focuses on preparing heavy goods vehicles and commercial trucks to a high standard for sale and export purposes. The position involves comprehensive cleaning, polishing, and readying these vehicles for photography and customer inspections, ensuring they meet stringent presentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of HGVs and commercial vehicles to achieve high-quality presentation.
• Utilize pressure washing equipment safely and efficiently to maintain vehicle cleanliness; training provided if required.
• Work outdoors throughout the year under various weather conditions wearing provided personal protective equipment and waterproof clothing.
• Prepare vehicles meticulously for photographs and client viewings, maintaining consistent attention to detail.
• Keep the washing bay and adjacent areas tidy, organized, and compliant with health and safety guidelines.
• Operate efficiently to meet daily preparation targets and business deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in vehicle valeting or commercial vehicle preparation, ideally including pressure washing.
• Strong focus on detail and quality workmanship.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure to complete tasks within deadlines.
• Positive work ethic with dependable, self-driven attitude.
• Good communication and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Physically fit to perform demanding work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Conditions and Hours

• Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Onsite role based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay rate approximately £12.71 per hour, amounting to an annual salary of £26,500.
