Team and Role Overview
This position is based in Boston and is part of the Talent & Inclusion team's mission to foster a diverse, capable workforce that matches the complexity of the global market. The Learning & Development unit supports Global Support and Informa’s B2B divisions through TheCampus@Informa, enhancing colleague skills, engagement, and career growth.
The Head of Learning – Enabling plays a vital role in steering the learning strategy and delivery within the Business Operations Pillar, focusing on managerial effectiveness, operational excellence, and functional skills. The portfolio may expand to additional pillars over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage regularly with HR and business leaders to assess learning needs and future skill gaps using data and AI-driven insights.
- Forge enduring partnerships to integrate learning seamlessly into workflows.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive skills strategy aligned with Informa’s overall objectives and diversity ambitions.
- Provide inclusive, global, and scalable learning experiences across divisions.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of Learning Partners and Facilitators, promoting creativity and adaptability.
- Incorporate AI tools to enhance personalized learning plans and scenario-based practice.
- Oversee program management including co-creating skills development pathways, embedding AI components such as Elysia, and delivering strategic senior-level learning sessions (minimum 10 hours per month).
- Manage pillar budgets, monitor training ROI, and optimize digital platforms integration (e.g., LMS, Talent systems).
- Lead cross-pillar projects and continuous program improvement based on engagement analytics.
Performance Metrics
- Achieve 15+ hours of recorded learning per colleague annually.
- Deliver at least 10 hours of facilitation monthly.
- Attain stakeholder satisfaction scores (NPS) of 85 or higher.
- Reach learner satisfaction levels exceeding 85%.
- Ensure 85% of learning initiatives utilize the AI tool, Elysia.
- Maintain budget discipline and demonstrate positive ROI quarterly.
Candidate Qualifications
- Extensive experience in learning and development, talent management, or HR, preferably in leadership roles.
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable digital learning and skills programs.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and authoring tools.
- Experience or awareness of AI application in upskilling initiatives.
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and influencing capabilities.
