Role Overview

The Finance department is seeking a Financial Analyst II to enhance the FP&A team by partnering chiefly with the Sales organization. This role supports financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making by collaborating closely with Sales leadership. Responsibilities include managing ACV bookings, operating expenses, and headcount planning while delivering actionable insights to optimize growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary FP&A partner for Sales, supplying financial guidance and insights to drive business decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership and Operations to create headcount plans aligned with sales objectives.
• Manage operating expense forecasting and planning for Sales, focusing on personnel and discretionary spending.
• Oversee ACV forecasting by monitoring bookings, pipeline trends, and business drivers across segments and regions.
• Support month-end close by analyzing actuals, investigating variances, coordinating with Accounting, and generating monthly and quarterly financial reports and insights.
• Develop and maintain financial models to aid strategic planning, investments, and scenario analyses.
• Identify opportunities to enhance planning, reporting, and forecasting through automation and process improvements.
• Support strategic projects, ad hoc analyses, and executive reporting, while monitoring operational and efficiency metrics to drive performance.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of Finance or FP&A experience, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
• Proven collaborator capable of building strong cross-functional relationships.
• Advanced financial modeling expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to analyze extensive data sets, recognize trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Proactive mindset for problem-solving and process enhancement.
• Experience with Adaptive Insights, Salesforce, Pigment, Looker, or NetSuite is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

For U.S.-based candidates, the expected starting salary ranges from $61,000 to $96,000 annually, with On Target Earnings (including bonuses/commissions) estimated between $69,000 and $109,000 per year. Compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and experience. Additional benefits include equity grants (RSUs), providing ownership in the company.
