Overview
Suffolk County Council seeks a Developer Contributions Monitoring Officer to join the Planning team within the Growth, Highways and Infrastructure directorate. The role is based in Ipswich, Suffolk, at Endeavour House with hybrid working options. The position is permanent, offering a salary of A328,598 per annum (pro rata for part-time) for 37 hours per week with flexible working hours available.
Role Summary
The officer will be responsible for monitoring all Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 Developer Contributions for the council. The role demands analytical skills to examine intricate details, managing financial information accurately, tracking development progress ensuring legal milestones are met, and preparing comprehensive reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze detailed and complex data regarding developer contributions.
- Track development progress to ensure compliance with legally mandated trigger points.
- Manage financial records related to income and expenditure from contributions.
- Generate accurate and informative reports as required.

About the Team

The role supports the council's interaction with other local planning authorities and secures infrastructure funding through developer contributions.
