Role overview
The company is seeking a bilingual professional who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute in a busy, fast-moving, and highly professional environment. The position is centered on air import operations and customer service, with responsibility for handling shipments accurately and ensuring smooth delivery processes.
Key responsibilities
- Track inbound cargo and coordinate actions that help make shipments available to customers as quickly as possible.
- Support customer service by monitoring freight and preparing shipping documents required for final delivery.
- Make sure pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments are handled in line with GDP/GDPMDS standards and related directives whenever applicable.
- Pass documents and freight to customers’ brokers in a timely manner.
- Check flight delays with airlines and origin stations so customers and the customer service team receive accurate arrival updates.
- Verify that all paperwork is complete, organized, and compliant with customer profiles and local regulations.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by understanding service needs and ensuring full compliance with handling requirements.
- Enter information into the system promptly and with accuracy.
- Ensure freight and handling charges are billed correctly and that customer invoices are issued on time.
- Close inter-company settlements accurately within the company’s required timeline.
- Prepare and submit reports whenever needed.
- File PNCs promptly with the relevant parties.
- Handle other tasks assigned by the department as needed.
Requirements
- Tertiary education plus 1 year of work experience is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Comfortable using common office software, including email, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Shows initiative and maintains a positive, proactive attitude.
