About the Role
Transformco is seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and nurture a remote team of about 15 recruiters focused on high-volume hiring, particularly for technician, skilled trades, frontline, and hourly positions. This position demands dynamic leadership in a rapidly evolving and goal-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a distributed team of 15 recruiters.
- Create an accountable and positive work culture where team members understand their objectives and receive sufficient support to meet them.
- Manage daily recruiting operations to ensure seamless workflow.
- Establish weekly and monthly goals related to candidate pipelines, offers, hires, and communications.
- Assess and distribute recruitment workload in alignment with hiring demands, market priorities, and team capacity.
- Maintain close oversight of open roles, candidate progress, pending offers, and aging requisitions to achieve hiring targets.
- Proactively identify and address obstacles with recruiters and business partners promptly.
- Prepare and deliver detailed weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting progress and risks.
- Coach recruiters on sourcing, candidate interaction, interview coordination, offer processes, and closing techniques.
- Support recruitment efforts across multiple geographic markets and organizational units.
- Develop sustainable pipelines for experienced technicians and skilled trades professionals.
- Partner with operational leaders to adapt recruiting strategies to changing workforce needs.
- Drive improvements in recruiting workflows, reporting, technology use, and overall team productivity.
- Promote the use of sourcing agents, AI tools, automation, and dashboards to enhance recruiting effectiveness.
- Remain engaged with hands-on recruiting support for challenging or urgent roles as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 to 5 years managing sizable recruiting or talent acquisition teams, ideally close to 15 members.
- Expertise in high-volume recruiting with a strong sense of discipline and follow-up.
- Experience hiring for technician, skilled trades, frontline, hourly, field service, or similar blue-collar roles.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and retain recruitment personnel effectively.
- Skill in managing team performance through goal setting and consistent feedback.
- Thorough understanding of recruiting metrics, productivity, conversion rates, and reporting.
- Experience balancing workloads across multiple locations and markets.
- Exceptional organizational and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication, judgment, follow-through, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfort with applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, automation, and AI-enabled recruiting technologies.
- Prior experience managing a remote recruitment team strongly preferred.
