About the Role and Company

Join Vestas, a global leader in wind power technology known for driving the wind energy industry forward. The company focuses on developing, producing, selling, marketing, and maintaining wind turbines worldwide. This position supports the North Region Service Operations within Asia.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage comprehensive administrative tasks at windfarm service locations, ensuring efficient logistics and operational support as the central pillar sustaining field activities and compliance.
  • Conduct regular visits and handle daily administrative support functions onsite.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including overseeing first aid readiness and fire extinguisher maintenance.
  • Oversee site management and financial accounting activities.
  • Monitor task completion rigorously and pursue prompt closure of activities.
  • Execute end-to-end SAP operations, covering purchase requisitions, goods receipts, invoice verification, workflow approvals, vendor management, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage company fleet vehicles and drivers, including attendance tracking, fuel management, servicing, and repairs.
  • Coordinate vendor and subcontractor relationships and supervise invoice processing.
  • Maintain smooth site infrastructure operations, including office facilities, guest houses, asset management, and site support.
  • Produce and manage Management Information Systems (MIS) reports.
  • Oversee site CCTV systems and their regular upkeep.
  • Organize accommodation logistics for both employees and visitors, including hotels and site living quarters.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or B.Com plus MBA with relevant experience in site or office administration.
  • Valid driving license with willingness to travel.
  • Fluency in Kannada and Hindi preferred.
  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to high execution standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across professional levels, support change initiatives, and follow supervision respectfully.
  • Proficiency with computers, including navigating internet-based software and producing data reports.

Competencies

  • Proficient reading, writing, and comprehension of English.
  • Capability to engage fully in required training programs.
  • Comfort working semi-autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Sound administrative management understanding.
  • Ability to discern site administrative needs, including accounting, purchasing, and scheduling meetings.
  • Analytical skills for identifying trends and problem-solving with practical recommendations.
  • Strong cost-awareness mindset aimed at reducing waste and optimizing expenditure within operational control.
  • Skillful in determining requirements, prioritizing tasks, and scheduling activities effectively.

Work Environment and Location

The primary workplace will be in Bijapur or Basavana Bagewadi, Karnataka. This role offers a flat organizational structure in a multicultural, dynamic department focused on delivering world-class results in sustainable energy.
