Position Overview

Join Vestas as a Service Technician, playing a pivotal role as the frontline caretaker of customer wind turbines under service agreements in the Aljouf region. This role demands precision, professionalism, and a strong focus on safety and quality in all service activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in turbines.
• Perform regular servicing and maintenance tasks including inspections, repairs, and component replacements as per contracts.
• Ensure smooth turbine operation by utilizing condition monitoring and remote control systems.
• Maintain communication with customers about completed and scheduled services and repairs.
• Manage responsibilities related to service vehicles, warehouses, material, tools, and spare parts ordering.
• Report daily activities accurately using SAP software.
• Adhere strictly to safety and environmental protocols while meeting service goals.
• Assemble turbine components following current guidelines, utilizing cranes when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Background or experience in electricity, mechanics, or hydraulics, with a desire to enhance expertise in these fields.
• Basic proficiency in English is advantageous.
• Familiarity with computer applications for reporting and communication; experience with tools or systems for monitoring work and documentation.
• Possess a valid driving license.
