About the Role
We are looking for a Service Scheduler to join our centralised team, responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance across Australia. This role ensures technicians are assigned efficiently, equipped for site access, and able to complete their tasks punctually. It involves close interaction with technicians, Field Managers, and customers, demanding excellent communication and coordination capabilities to provide a smooth and superior service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign technicians to service appointments in a way that meets both customer expectations and business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their appointments and service details.
- Manage appointment rescheduling and ensure all affected parties are informed timely.
- Work closely with internal departments such as Service, Sales, and Support to streamline processes.
- Perform necessary administrative duties and generate reports as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in administration or scheduling within a field workforce environment is required.
- Customer service or dispatch/scheduling background is essential.
- Excellent administrative skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with computers, preferably with service management software like ServiceMax.
- Exceptional communication skills and professional customer interaction.
- Capable of handling pressure and juggling competing demands.
- Highly attentive to detail with strong time management abilities.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in scheduling field-based teams.
- Familiarity with service software such as ServiceMax or equivalents.
- Keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- A team-oriented mindset and readiness to support a busy work environment.
