Role Overview

As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks and minor repairs on wafer manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment. This role involves adhering to safety protocols, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and working on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance activities by strictly following established PM checklists.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and carry out minor repairs on wafer fabrication equipment.
• Perform daily equipment cleaning and maintenance adhering to 5S standards.
• Comply with safety regulations within the cleanroom setting.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Contribute ideas and participate in projects aimed at equipment continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to semiconductor or wafer fab cleanroom equipment is advantageous.
• Strong team collaboration skills with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with peers and other departments.
• Proficient written communication to complete maintenance documentation and shift handovers.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a wafer fabrication cleanroom environment.
• Basic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering is required.
