Role Overview
As a Preventive Maintenance Technician, you will support wafer manufacturing equipment by carrying out scheduled maintenance, basic fault handling, and day-to-day equipment upkeep within a cleanroom environment. The role follows a 12-hour rotating shift pattern in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to the established PM checklist.
- Handle simple troubleshooting and minor repairs on wafer manufacturing equipment.
- Perform daily 5S activities and routine equipment maintenance.
- Work in line with safety procedures and cleanroom standards.
- Assist with additional tasks assigned by the supervisor as needed.
- Contribute ideas to, or take part in, ongoing equipment improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prior preventive maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Exposure to semiconductor or wafer fab cleanroom equipment is an advantage.
- Ability to work well in a team, maintain a positive attitude, and learn quickly.
- Strong communication skills for working with colleagues and other departments.
- Good written communication for PM checklists and shift handover notes.
- Comfort working a 12-hour rotating shift in a wafer fabrication cleanroom.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft software.
- Technical certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
