Role Overview
The Acquiring Financial Unit (AFU) focuses on Merchant KYC Screening and onboarding activities for all merchants and clients in Saudi Arabia. This position involves processing merchant onboarding and maintenance tasks while supporting project initiatives, product releases, and updates. Collaboration with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders is a key component in servicing the swiftly expanding business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and respond to all unit requests related to various applications within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Review KYC documentation of Network International and Aggregator Merchants in line with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct new merchant risk screenings utilizing VMSS and MATCH online verification tools.
- Identify accuracy and validity of merchant documentation effectively.
- Register new merchant details in Way 4 and other required NI systems within prescribed timeframes.
- Handle merchant maintenance requests regarding demographic details, account information, and merchant service fees (MSF).
- Maintain accurate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and provide these to relevant teams as mandated.
- Ensure that merchant setup and processed files are transmitted securely, strictly following company policies to avoid audit issues.
- Provide continued operational functionality and process integrity in the absence of supervisors or managers.
- Resolve daily internal and external queries and requests within cutoff times, ensuring no pending issues remain.
- Adhere strictly to compliance and procedural guidelines in all activities.
- Authenticate the validity of signatories and approvals on request forms.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- University degree or equivalent certification.
- Two to four years of relevant operational experience.
- Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Team-oriented with empathy towards clients.
- Customer-centric mindset capable of working effectively under pressure.
- Ability to engage with partners, consultants, and support teams to explore opportunities with customers and prospective clients.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Technology departments to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Consistently submit accurate data in daily and weekly progress reports.
